Chitranna with capsicum

Ingredients:

Oil 2 tbs

Mustard seeds 1 ts

Peanuts 2 tbs

Urid dal 1 tbs

Chana dal 1 tbs

Green chilli chopped 4-5

Coriander leaves chopped 3 tbs

Grated coconut 4 tbs

Capsicum 1 chopped

Curry leaves 10-15

Salt to taste

Turmeric powder 1 ts

Cooked rice 3 cups

Lemon juice 2 tbs

 

Method:

Heat oil in Kadai add mustard seeds,peanuts,Urid dal and Chana dal .

Fry till dals are brown.

Add curry leaves,coriander leaves,grated coconut,green chillies,salt and turmeric powder.

Fry for 2-4 minutes.

Add capsicum and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Add cooked rice and mix well.

Switch off the heat,add lemon juice and mix well.

Serve.
