Beetroot palya

Ingredients:

Beetroot chopped 2

Oil 2 ts

Mustard seeds 2 ts

Urid dal 2 ts

Curry leaves 10

Dry red chilli 2

Chilli powder 1 ts

Salt as per taste

Grated coconut 2 tbs

 

Method:

Heat oil in a Kadai add mustard seeds,Urid dal,redchillies wait for mustard to splutter add curry leaves,beetroot .

Add a cup of water close the lid and cook for 10 minutes.

Add chilli powder,salt cook till curry looks dry,garnish with grated coconut. Serve with rice or chapathi....
