Tricolour palya

Usha's

I prepared this palya on Aug 15 on the occasion of independence day.

Ingredients:

Beans hand ful chopped

Potato 1 big one chopped

Carrot 2 chopped

Onion 1 chopped

Oil 2 ts

Mustard seeds 2 ts

Jeera 2 ts

Curry leaves 10-15

Turmeric powder a pinch

Chilli powder 1/2ts

Grated coconut 2 tbs

 

Heat oil in a Kadai add mustard seeds, jeera,curry leaves wait for seeds to crackle add onion fry for 2-3 minutes.

Add chopped vegetables , sprinkle some water and close with a lid and cook for 5 minutes.

Add salt ,turmeric powder and chilli powder. Cook until vegeies are soft.

Garnish with coconut. Serve with chapathi or rice.
